Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine-Assisted Learning
For those seeking mental health services, Answered Prayer Farm offers individual EAP sessions, allowing clients the space and time to process through the difficult situations life brings. This ground-based, experiential method of counseling provides clients with the tools and empowerment necessary to find their own answers.
For those seeking a therapeutic setting to learn how horsemanship and relationship work together, Answered Prayer Farm offers individual or group EAL sessions, focusing on building connection, communication, and relational skills that can impact daily living, whether at home or the workplace.
The standard rate for sessions is $150-165, but a sliding scale fee is available for those who need assistance. We do not want funding to be an obstacle to obtaining services.
We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, and Priority Health insurances.

Herd Quiet Time
In a world full of noise, sometimes people need the time and space to find Quiet. During Herd Quiet Time, groups of 5 to 20 people can come to the farm, walk the Mindfulness Trail, and join the horses in the pasture for some time away from noise. Group members can sit or stand alone or together in small groups, as long as each person is able to find the Rest and Quiet they are looking for.
Cost is $20 per person for an hour. Contact us for the schedule or if you would like to set up a time for a private group.
Horsemanship Camp: Levels 1 and 2
A ground-based program for kids ages 8 to 12, Horsemanship Camp Level 1 is a week long program, focusing on building skills in Self-Regulation, Teamwork, Relationships, and Partnership. The kids will spend time in Tack Room Talks, where we discuss different skills with the group, before moving to Horsemanship Time, where the kids will be able to spend time with the horses and utilize the skills they just learned about.
Cost is $200 per child for the week, 2.5 hours each day.
Horsemanship Camp Level 2 is for kids who have completed Level 1 and are interested in further developing their horsemanship skills. In a smaller group size, each participant will be paired up with their individual horse, developing Communication and Trust through Equine Activities, as well as developing Leadership and Connection with the other participants through Tack Room Talks and Group Games.
Cost is $250 per child for the week, 3.5 hours each day.

Horsemanship and Riding Lessons
Primarily for kids ages 5 to 18, but also for adults 18+, lessons at Answered Prayer Farm begin by focusing on learning about horses and how to form a relationship with them on the ground. It is our belief that trust between horse and human should be built before sitting in the saddle. Students learn how to bond with the horses through Natural Horsemanship techniques. Once in the saddle, students continue to develop both the relationship with the horses and their riding skills. Basic to intermediate riding levels are covered, with students working toward riding independently in the arena and on the trails.

In order to provide a healthy and safe experience for the horses, the weight limit for riding is 200 pounds. This is not intended to shame anyone, but solely to advocate for our horses and their health, safety, and happiness. Lessons can still be done on the ground, focusing on Natural Horsemanship.
Cost is $35 per hour for children under 18. $45 per hour for adults.
